Why 2 lanes on CRH westbound in front GB?

35 mins to reach home yesterday , only real traffic was macco traffic from police activity on the Beetham .

At the right lane near the intersection there is a lot of works going on in the median area .

They are demolishing the median that was built earlier this year

they paved the left side of the southbound ramp
look like they are shifting the southbound lanes up the ramp more to the left/north
to try and reduce the mixing up of aranguez north exiters with southbound folks from the west.

it is clear the authorities know that the original design have serious flaws

Anyhow, that video clearly shows 3 (three) lanes heading west, but as of last week they took that away from the nation.

Where are they gonna magically find a lane?

The bridge immediately west of nestle, is it really necessary?...why is it open?...for people to go fishing? That bridge is blocking the potential third lane.

Too much "cross" traffic and well the normal idiots who don't know how to get in lane. Yesterday I was heading west, upon passing nessles a woman in a rav4 exiting from south darted across 4 lanes in one swift move, just to hog the right lane. Doh mind all other lanes were clear. Epic slam brakes ensued and she jus carried along her merry way while talkin on her phone.

South people and the right lane syndrome they have, they do it on evenings too.

Aranguez traffic needs its own ramp to somehow meet back the east bound...the existing exit should connect to the south ramp

This desugn came from the pnm who refused to use john humphreys design from the administration before them present design looks like everything was just added on as an afterthought rather than a properly planned design with foresight

the only physical option is to not let them come out the existing exit,
cut a road east parallel to the highway across the
last farmland that is there and make them go to mt hope and come out by nestle

Aranguez should have had an exit at the ALJ round about, if possible.

That way the traffic would be reduced heading east to west

The demolition of the median built in the last year or so is a bit more than curious . The right lane is being used seemingly to do these works . Its hard to fathom this demolition and other works being undertaken with this lane open . Any one can shed any further light on this ?

Also thanks to the south rightlane crew who make it there duty to come to a dead stop after aranguez flyover in order to change lanes. Way to plan your trip ahead of time.

they will likely spend a day or two soon to paint over the lines to move the up ramp lanes more to the left/north so brace for some traffic in the coming days

their behavior is pretty predictable now
