I'd put this here cause I don't want the relative drama of a new topic.
Yesterday, Unknowing to me, My wife bought a Samsung S4 from a local business place as my Christmas present. I only opened it this morning. Only to discover less than an hour later, It was a clone. A fake. A very very very good one. AT first glance (and I never owned a Samsung Device before), I found it sluggish out of the box. I overlooked it. Now I researched the phone since it was launched. I know all the basic features. They were there, But didn't work properly. Certain features from the cam were also missing. There is this app (got this from xda developers) named Genuine S4/S3/Note II. Basically it checks to match your phone with the known specs of the device and I wanted to be sure. Cause clearly something was wrong. I even checked the phone details and everything seemed fine given some quick online research. It is runnning Android 4.2.2 as well.
An Error message came up saying, I'm sorry, This is not a real S4. The resolution was 960x540, Ram was 500MB and the internal memory was 8.8GB. See the problem here? It was returned this morning and the full refund was given. PLEASE.... Be careful of what you buy. Even if it's from a reputable dealer.
