best buy in terms of what exactly? Ask yourself what YOU want/ don't want in a vehicle, then come back and post it here.

The best one of the 3 stated options for me is the Tuscon...if possible, go diesel!

Being d owner of a Tucson once, i would recommed the Tucson. But the Rav4 imho might hold more value and outlast the rest.

that rav4 has a hideous ass...but I must confess that those rear lights do make excellent cup holders or bottle holders, etc.....

The new Tucson nice. You get some nice cockpit features and it feels comfortable. Why only these three tho? There are others. Depends on what your purpose and use of the vehicle is.

the Forester is best in its class.

the battle is for 2nd place, and rav4 wins there.

Depends what you are comparing and looking for in a vehicle.
If you looking for a vehicle to give you 5 years little problems and have a high resale - Rav 4.
If you looking a vehicle that you can get at an affordable range and sell within 3 years for an ok resale value - Tucson
I havent driven the new rav4 but i have driven most of the other suvs in that line, new tucson, sportage, crv, vitara and the older rav4. In terms of power and comfort the rav4 wins hands down.

In fact just today my friend told me he finds the rav 4 is the most comfortable suv (older model) after driving his gf new model tucson, his old crv and my vitara.

Very true on the older rav4. I personally think toyota best ever was the 2003 model. The large amount of useable interior space, reliable engine and excellent handling is just pure win. Only downside is parts being pricey.

I drive both a rav4 and qashqai with a 10yr difference between both and the qashqai only beats the rav4 in lower cabin noise.

You're right to not care about opinions that differ from yours. Especially if the opposing opinions are supported by independent facts and research.

CRV?
