The initial down play on this issue was foolhardy by the major players . With supposedly more leaks this is huge disaster . Its not getting the national attention because it seems in small minds to only affect some country people . This is huge for a country this size and this needs to get under control ASAP.

Oil is reported in the mangrove and lagoon by Otaheite. There has been no containment or cleanup effort. Scarlet Ibis nest and feed in this area. The crustaceans on which they feed have been affected by the spill. Fishermen from the area are pleading with Petrotrin and the government to save the mangrove and lagoon. Michael Ramnath of the Otaheite Fisherfolk is asking for help in letting the public know what is going on in the mangrove. If you are a photographer, videographer or member of the press please contact him at 7500680. He will take you to see the disaster by boat. (Marc)

To clean up oil spill you need Hazwopher training and special suits.

Oil contains chemicals that will cause respiratory and other illness.

Some donkey said you were in a thread.

I didn't have names of who paying but got good info that they were in fact being paid to f**k around with progress.

If they cared about the environment we would have seen at least one of them by now.

To organize and plan hazwoper training would be helpful. But the actual operations would not be necessary, on a normal beach.
If persons were in small groups and led by a trained person that should suffice.

By the way, where is my tax sponsored cepep in all this ?
