UPDATE: According to reports there was an explosion at the T&TEC sub-station in Diego Martin (Powder Magazine). Several parts of West Trinidad are currently without power. Areas affected include Goodwood Park, Diego Martin, Westmoorings and Glencoe. IMAGE VIA onikaedwards

The cause of the fire on the No. 1 66/32kV transformer is unknown at this time. T&TEC is collaborating with the relevant state agencies to return to normalcy in the shortest possible time
