not to long here the brother of the man who got shot by the business man cyakin ah buncha sheit
man sounding ignorant as hell...apparently he is defending his brother on the basis that he didn't have a gun so he wasn't doing nuttin and if he did and was attempting a robbery he would have never been shot
so either he saying his brother is a real good shot or he is a stone cold killer that would kill someone without remorse...i more think its the latter
he also said if police ear do nothing he taking matters into his own hands and the innocent will pay

thank god im not a police .....i would have sent him on a one way trip to meet his brother

Sometime after 2 p.m. on Friday, Christian Alexander and two other men followed the elderly man to his Pointe-a-Pierre home, where, after beating him and throwing him on the ground, they took his Nissan Tiida car.
The police were contacted by TSTT’s Blink Vigilance Security Services and within half-hour the stolen car was spotted in Claxton Bay and a high-speed chase ensued.
Police chased the thieves to Forres Park, near the south-bound lane of the Solomon Hochoy Highway, where the vehicle crashed.

TSTT into the car recovery business now?

Bandit shot dead by police in Tobago
By Elizabeth Williams
Story Created: Feb 4, 2014 at 10:29 PM ECT
Story Updated: Feb 4, 2014 at 10:30 PM ECT
TWENTY-YEAR-OLD Akeil Price of Les Coteaux was shot dead by police on Monday night when they responded to a call following a robbery at a clothes store in Moriah around midnight.
Police said Price was one of three men who robbed the store, belonging to Onica Charles.
Another man, attempting to leave Tobago from ANR Robinson International Airport yesterday, and a student of Signal Hill Secondary School have since been held and are assisting the police with their investigations.
A pool of blood remained on the scene at Moriah when the Express visited the area.
Charles said this was the third time her business place was robbed within months.
“I was home and I hear the noise upstairs by my sister-in-law and I gave her a call and ask she what happen and she told me they break in the store.”
The clothing store is located at the front of her home. There was an exchange of gunfire between the police, who responded within five minutes of being called, and the three masked bandits, armed with guns and a bolt cutter.
“After I hear some gun shots, and after I come down the road to see what happen,” said Charles.
Officers told the Express Price was shot dead and another bandit sustained injuries to the buttocks, while the third bandit escaped in a silver Mazda 323. A black car was also involved, said police.
CCTV camera footage which captured the incident has since been handed over to the police.
ASP Jeffery George is spearheading investigations along with Moriah police.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Tobago Brian Headley said officers must be commended for their timely response to the distress call.
“The quick action by officers to this call should be an example to other officers. When reports are made to the police their response must and should be timely, in the deliverance of justice to citizens. This serves as a catalyst for other officers in the service,” said Headley.

Not exactly a shot/killed story but heard on the radio this morning that 2 bandits were caught by Johnny Abraham after they robbed and assaulted a couple at their home. The bandits were dressed as security guards.

One more feather in the cap of Johnny Abraham.

Police are currently at the scene of a double murder in Rio Claro.
Police said at around 11.20 a.m. they got an anonymous call of a burnt vehicle parked roadside at Guayaguayare Road, Rio Claro.

Police found a Datsun pick up, with two dead persons.

Police said one of the murder victims was well-known to the police.
The body was identified as that of Shiffie Roberts, 29, of Guyaguayare Road.
He was charged with committing murder in 2003, and found guilty of manslaughter in 2009. He was later freed after appealing the case.

Looks like someone decided to deal with another "good boi."

Police have yet to identify the other body. They believe it was Roberts' uncle.

A 29-year-old man wanted in connection with a murder, child rape, and robbery was shot dead in Claxton Bay yesterday.

Anthony Hepburn, was killed in an exchange of gunfire with police
officers who went to take him into custody.

Hepburn was the main suspect in the murder of Sean Jaikaran, who was shot and killed at the TCL recreation ground in Claxton Bay last month.

He was also a suspect in the rape of a 13-year-old girl, during a robbery at the home of her family.

According to police at around 2.30 p.m. a party of police officers of the
Central Division Task Force led by Senior Superintendent of Police Johnny Abraham went to Sookhoo Trace, based on a tip off.

BLOODY VALENTINE
Police kill two bandits after businessman murdered in Central

By Susan Mohammed susan.mohammed@trinidadexpress.com
Story Created: Feb 14, 2014 at 10:25 PM ECT
Story Updated: Feb 14, 2014 at 10:25 PM ECT
Valentine’s Day turned bloody in Central Trinidad yesterday when a gunman who laughed as he shot dead a businessman in Cunupia was himself killed along with his accomplice within an hour during a shootout with police.
The men were shot by police following a chase through Central Trinidad, which ended in Freeport.
The Express was told by police that around 10.30 a.m., 45-year-old businessman Darren Shane Painter was shot at his business place at Southern Main Road.
Painter, of Raghunanan Road, Cunupia, was the owner of an auto rental and leasing business, and cellular and accessories outlet.
Police said Painter had several court matters.
A suspect approached Painter as he stood outside his business place, police said. Witnesses told police the gunman laughed as he shot Painter, who died at the scene. A gun was found near Painter’s body.
The killer left in a Mazda 3 car, which police later found abandoned at Ince Drive, Cunupia.
Police were told the gunman, the driver and a third man then got into a Volkswagen Jetta and were headed south along the Solomon Hochoy Highway when a party of police officers of the Central and Southern Divisions and aerial support, led by Senior Supt Johnny Abraham, Insp Williams and Sgt Tooleram, began their pursuit.
The suspects abandoned the vehicle in Freeport near the Highway Roti Shop and fled into the bushes, the Express was told. Police said officers searched the area and when the bandits were confronted, there was a shootout.
Two suspects were shot. They were taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility where they were pronounced dead. The third suspect was arrested.
The identities of the suspects were not disclosed up to late yesterday. The surviving suspect is expected to go before identification parades to determine whether he was involved in other crimes.
Painter was charged in 2003 in Tobago with two other men for alleged possession of false US currency.
In December, Painter escaped unhurt after a gunman shot at a car in which he was a passenger in Mon Repos, San Fernando. The driver was shot in his chest and survived.
Painter’s killing has taken the murder toll for 2014 to 70 compared with 52 in 2013.

Suspected thief dies after stabbing himself during fight with victim

By GYASI GONZALES gyasi.gonzales@trinidadexpress.com

Story Created: Feb 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM ECT
(
Story Updated: Feb 27, 2014 at 2:03 PM ECT )

A thief stabbed himself with his own knife this morning during a fight with the man he had robbed moments before at the corner of French Street and Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook.

Police said that the incident happened around 5 a.m.
The would-be victim aged 23 and his friend aged 19 were walking east along Ariapita Avenue when they were approached by the thief who grabbed a gold chain off the neck of the 23-year-old man.

The police refused to name the victim as they fear he may be targeted by relatives or friends of the dead man.

The thief ran off after grabbing the chain but was chased by the 23-year-old who caught up with him along French Street. The two men struggled and the suspect pulled a knife and attempted to stab the man he just robbed. In the melee however the thief stabbed himself in the chest, police were told.

Realising what had happened, the would-be victim sought assistance from the police and eventually an ambulance was called to the scene.

The suspect was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Officers of the Central Police Station are investigating.
