Two (2) by 30amp fuse on the Quantum Audio. No fuse on the monoblock

What's the recommended fuse rating for the inline fuse on the b+ for the monoblock?
I do hope you have a fuse, if not buy one asap 0.o

well from my research, I saw a review with someone saying it uses a small 80amp fuse. There is not even a slot for a fuse on the amp. This amp was repaired so I don't know if or what alterations were made. Research it yourself: Cadence Ultrashock A5+Hc is the exact model.

600watts at 2 ohm, no on board fuse.

A 60 - 80A inline fuse is what most likely recommended.

120 - 140A total current draw at full tilt running sine sweep. On music I'd guesstimate your draw to be 1/2 to 1/3 that.

I did real fine with a 600watt mtx and 300watt orion off my tiny xs power d1200. Stock alternator.

The ac delco I got was pretty big with iirc 95 or 90 ah rating and it was around $1400.00. Bought it the day before flugtag and its still in the car. Neglect in he mc had the voltage dropping so every now and then I try to use the car, was cranking at full tilt Friday in port of Spain with a healthy 13.9v hot (its 14.6v cold).

Got a battery today people. I went with XS Power.

Three year warranty and the battery itself has an average lifespan of 6-10 years. It is not installed as yet. When it is, I will give a proper review.

Thank you for all the assistance, comments, reviews and '2 cents' fellas.

  I want to know mehself boy.
Budget almost double. I put some serious thought into it, consulted and discussed it with the supplier and I came to the decision to go with the XS Power. It is an extreme dent eh but seeing that I possibly may not have to buy a battery for another five years or more beats all other considerations I made and attended to.

Did that d5100r fit into the stock lancer stand?
How much did it cost?

Yes, the D5100R is actually smaller than the stock CS lancer battery stand. The battery is slimmer but taller and heavier than any other automotive battery I have lifted. The cost of it is $2250. I will give a proper write up on it with pictures this weekend.

The key thing to note about XS Power Batteries is that they use Virgin Lead so the lifespan of the battery is way longer than rival brands.

95% of other battery brands including Optima use recycled Lead.

Optima used to make excellent batteries a few years ago before they switched their manufacturing plant to Mexico. The quality has since decreased rapidly..

When you buy a quality product and receive good service I believe it should be higlighted so the rest of the tuner population can be aware and informed. Ok so I purchased the XS Power D5100R battery from Team2lo2flo just over a week ago.

Image

Thus far, I have no problems starting my car, my audio sounds more powerful and the car feels re-energised(this could be mind over matter).
From previous experience with other batteries on the market, those that are the same size and bigger do not have the ratings that the XS Power has.

Ratings:
Max Amps(instant burst of energy): 3,100A
Cranking Amps(CA): 745
Reserve Capacity(RC): 100 minutes (I can switch engine off and 'play' for 100 minutes before the battery is at a voltage too low to start the car.
Amp hours(Ah): 60. 2000W / 3000W

Some of us, including myself, watched the amount of cranking amps and said, "daiz all?" Well that is all but cranking amps was meaningful for the cars of yesteryear that had to be cranked for a long time to get started. Back then CA numbers were very meaningful; however, for nowaday everyday use and mobile audio use, immediate burst output is more important.

Battery installed with heat wrap shield available from Team2lo2flo . Keeps the battery cooler and extends the life of the battery. As you can see the battery is a bit taller than the stock battery stand but the universal battery clamp eliminated any problems I would have incurred with a regular/OEM battery clamp.

I almost doubled my budget based on what I had initially set aside to spend on a new battery. This battery is definitely worth every cent, thus far. Regardless, I am covered by a three (3) year warranty and research reveals that the battery will last much longer. I will update as time goes by.
