Rooney had about 4 half chances in this game. World-class forwards would have at least worked the keeper with a couple those. I want to believe it's his injury responsible for not getting those shots off. Kagawa was brilliant in attack AND DEFENSE. Typical defensive lapses from Vidic and Evra cost us the 2nd and 3rd goals, especially the third which killed us. As for Carrick, I have nothing more to say about that training ground cone but hopefully good riddance this summer. Overall a good fight from the team and positive team formation and substitution from Moyes. Definitely an improvement over the first half of the season. I'd give a minor miracle for 4th place to be back in the UCL next season.

Kagawa was definitely brilliant. I was begging for moyes to start chicharito. But it was a good performance. Valencia was good, smalling was too. Something was definitely lacking from rooney and welbeck.

We could have lost 10-0 to Bayern, at least that's what the haters were expecting. However, we played our hearts out over the 2 legs. It took the European champions 160 minutes to kill the tie off, despite the odds being stacked against us. That says something about this team.

I'm proud to be a Manchester United fan, whether we are the in the Champions League or not. It's the never-say-die spirit that matters.

what world class players they have? issue was Sir Fergie motivated them better. only world class player at a stretch is Van Persie, Rio, Vedic are old and Rooney hasn't been up to much.

best news I've heard all season! FINALLY!! granted united did need rebuilding but moyes never showed any promise of better things to come, never showed any signs of inspiration, looked way out of his depth.. hopefully a new manager can pick up the pieces n get the best out of the players

on a side note Klopp would raise any chances of prizing reus from dortmund or even hummels to replace vidic but one can dream lol

do have a sentimental value for giggys to do well if he get the caretaker position.. who else knows united through and through an player personalities other than the welshman..if given the chance he may be able to succeed
