I'm buying one for her aswell she will not budge on the waiting thing,
I would like to wait but I know I will feel upset if I spend that money on a phone for her and don't have one for myself as well.

Had some family buy a factory unlocked iPhone 5 for me in Miami from AT&T.... It came sealed in plastic..when opened an AT&T sim card was in the sim tray. When a local sim is inserted it's asking for activation but does nothing with the AT&T sim in it. Anyone can help? :(

Just found out all the details..apparently they bought it off Amazon whereit said it was AT&T factory unlocked. They went to an AT&T store and they said they needed the phone..but I know all they need is the IMEI. I dunno what to do now

AT&T changed their unlock policy. You need an account with them to unlock now. Thief thing may be that why they want to see it? Doubt that though. Their policy is online. Check it out.

Never heard of them but this guy responds to every single email politely in a timely fashion. Will keep doing business there.

However as I got no confirmation from his site that I was factory unlocked... And I didn't restore or anything .. There's no chance my phone can be relocked via an update or anything right ?

Will (owner of CU) also. He even offers refunds if there is a refundable issue.
It shouldn't relock assuming he used the right people. I've done quite a few unlocks with Will and never had any issues. Not local iPhone though. Once you don't try to use it on at&t it should work right thru since the process changed and they cracked down on unlocking again.

Same thing the guy on my site said ! Sounds great though. I contacted apple and they said they can't retrieve the info probably because it's probably being updated by AT&T currently. So I guess it's finalized. Will wait out the 5 day period and recheck.

How's the battery life for the iPhone 5 users ? Got tired of constantly tweaking and digging with android ... Don't have the time. Needed something that just works really. Hoping this does the job. Didn't wanna put extra for the 5S cause I couldn't really justify it.

^^^ They can be removed but you really should not. Easily destroyed one case doing that. Not removing the replacement.

I really take my time removing it I'm just scared of damaging its waterproof capabilities. Cuz everytime I'm gonna put the phone in water I like to do a water test. I don't really feel safe lol.

Did Lifeproof replace it for you ?

I've had better battery life with other phones, especially when using it for messaging the iPhone fails in my book, sometimes two or three times a day had to charge it. I'm a heavy user of mobiles
Fan boys might disagree with me....
casewise i used the Taktik Extreme, pretty decent, not waterproof but water resist, also has gorilla glass on the case

5s or 5? up to the 5, the battery life has been piss poor but with the 5s it has improved a lot.

Jonathan_337 wrote:Anyone using Lifeproof cases ? Is it safe to regularly remove and put them back on ?

do not do that. it's not designed to be put on and off. The seals will become worn/damaged.

Damn that sucks. Don't think I'll be using this in water then. I'd be too scared.
