Israel came into being in 1948, less than a year later they drove out hundreds of thousands of arabs. Where was hamas? A country established less than a year earlier did this by themselves? Hamas also tried to negotiate a number of treaties with Israel which they turned down. What would you do if your house was being taken away from you? Wouldn't you fight back?
Anyway, let's leave this for the other thread.[/quote]

I highlighted the words that most people in the world knows dont belong in the same sentence.
Hamas wants total annihilation of Israel if u believe otherwise u are ignorant. Most Palestinians want peace. There are Palestinians who live in Israel who are Residents and have the option of becoming citizens because Israel captured their land during the 70's war. Israel did not take their land or houses. On the other hand the new settlements being built by israel i do not support.

Thank you very much. I got that off a history text book that was updated in 2012. I didn't really take the time to verify the sources

Edit: In November 2008, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh re-stated that Hamas was willing to accept a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, and offered Israel a long-term truce "if Israel recognized the Palestinians' national rights". In 2009, in a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Haniyeh repeated his group's support for a two-state settlement based on 1967 borders: "We would never thwart efforts to create an independent Palestinian state with borders [from] June 4, 1967, with Jerusalem as its capital."On December 1, 2010, Ismail Haniyeh again repeated, "We accept a Palestinian state on the borders of 1967, with Jerusalem as its capital, the release of Palestinian prisoners, and the resolution of the issue of refugees," and "Hamas will respect the results [of a referendum] regardless of whether it differs with its ideology and principles."

Got it off wikipedia but it is similar to what the history book said.

The media is mostly biased, if it is the truth we seek, stop searching and see the bigger picture. Only an open mind can translate information and find truth, even if we don't like or agree with it.

They have captured two Japanese nationals and mockingly asking for a 200 million ransom, mockingly because that is the amount that the Japanese Prime Minister has pledged to the coalition fighting against ISIS, they're more than likely already dead.

With the ISIS targets that i'm hearing are strategically being taken out, i wouldn't be surprised if they're also beginning to be a little strapped for cash.... or at least worried about it. lol. Lets hope the Japanese don't pay them a single cent (even under the table.)

like assad go fall...sis vid uncensored

6.54-9.00mark

The Syrian Army is crumbling.

Iran is providing 15000 Troops to save what remains of the Assad regime, with the understanding that there is a limit to how many Hezbollah fighters can serve as cannon fodder in a war to save Assad.

The situation in Syria has fallen into chaos. The US Embassy in Syria tweeted on its official account Tuesday that the Syrian Air Force was striking rebel positions in the Aleppo area, helping Islamic State, which is also fighting against the regime, but is mainly focusing its efforts against its adversaries among the opposition to Assad.

It is difficult to explain logically what is happening in Syria, and who is against whom. There is a feeling that everyone is against everyone.

With this being the case, any speculative report or rumor spreads wings and wins immediate headlines, which is why it was reported Tuesday in the Lebanese media that the Israeli Air Force again struck targets in Lebanon.

The Hezbollah-affiliated al-Manar television station was quick to deny the reports, and Israel, as is its custom, neither confirmed nor denied them.

Anything is possible. It could be an Israeli attack or a false report.

Nothing reported on the Syrian civil war is out of the realm of possibility.

Surprised Effectic Design hasn't bumped this thread now that his hero Putin has started bombing the Syrian rebels. First Russian military involvement outside of the borders of the old USSR since the end of the Cold War. Putin gets to battle test the Su 34 which has never seen military action as yet.

And while we're on the topic, it's a fact to everyone but Putin that he's a ginormous blockhead. He himself admitted to not agreeing with Obama on Assad's role in IS. He even said that the world should support Assad. Not surprising to say the least since at the heart of the Soviet-Syrian alliance, which dates back to the Cold War, Russia is very keen on keeping Assad in power.

I take no 'side' in this.

Amerikkka is wholly and solely responsible for this particular monster. A direct result of perpetrating a bogus war in Iraq.

Classic case of 'blowback'...like the mujahideen and Osama Bin Laden/Al Quaeda.

They are now reaping the whirlwind, so to speak, for their actions, so they will feel it now.

They didn't listen to the rest of the world when they decided to wage war in Iraq, but now expects 'western allies' to help fight ISIS?

Let them fight up with that.

So Amerikka now wants to fling JDAMs from afar?
Well ISIS flinging heads, and posting it online.
Guess which one has greater propaganda impact...regardless of intent.

Mark my words...another 9/11-like sorting out is coming for one of these 'western-led allies'.
I hope they ready. The barbarians are again at the gate.

Sad to see that I was right.

Terrorism in any form is unconscionable, but you cannot expect to throw punches abroad, and not get a bloody nose at home. Who was the first nation to throw their lot in with the US in dropping bombs in Iraq and Syria? You guessed it...France.

France is now reaping the whirlwind for bad foreign policy. You reap what you sow.
