Rattling noise coming from center of dashboard in SGV 2006

Hello all,
There is this rattling sound that comes from the middle of the dash board at around 2000 rpm, in my 2006 Grand Vitara, has anyone had this experience?, I tightened screws in glove compartment,but noise persists.

Also having this on my 06..have no idea how to get rid of it......seems to come a bit more on the left side of the dashboard

Most likely its a harness running behind the dash. Check Lifestyle the technicians would sort it out

Also getting this problem in my SGV '07.. screws tightened and still persists.. Anyone found the solution?

check the harness running to the instrument panel. This tends to shift and rattle sometimes.

it is the flap on the evaporator box you have to take down the dash
i did alot of this when i use to work there

Good info on this topic, I remember the AC technician removing the evaporator on my B14 on a service I had done , I didn't think he removed the dash, from what you're saying the the GV is made up differently, in order to get at the evaporator the dash has to be removed?
