Read the last issue of VOICE. See PNM failures.
It takes progressive UNC thinking to advance.
EVERY country in the World allows illegals an amnesty.
EVERY country in the World allow an influx of immigrants then they regularize.
Winners all the way 2015 !

not sure if srsorangefox wrote:You thinking like a PNM stooge. No change ever. And ever.
& this statement shows that you think like the typical desperate wetback, whose opinion and loyalty could be bought by the idea of a promise of something in return.
but go ahead & keep hoping that somebody regularizes illegals. just don't be too disappointed when it doesn't happen.

President of the Downtown Owners and Merchants Association (Doma) Gregory Aboud, meanwhile, said T&T has presented itself as a “spoilt brat of the West Indies, living high on oil and gas revenues, and lavishing its citizens with all sorts of extraneous giveaways without considering its long-term effects and poor work ethics.” The giveaway programme, Aboud said, has left a huge vacuum in our workforce.
Aboud said while the association supports Griffith’s call to clamp down on illegal immigrants, Doma is urging the Government to consider offering legal immigration status to Caribbean nationals who are seeking employment, willing to work, and contribute to the country’s economic development. “Trinidad is experiencing a chronic shortage of people who are willing to work, not a chronic shortage of labour.
“The fact of the matter is, it is extremely difficult to compete with work programmes, where people report to work at 7 am and leave at 9 am.”

Very Much the truth.
Finding NATIONALS willing to work in this country is similar to pulling teeth.
Many business owners are turning to immigrants both legal and illegal. They're hard working and loyal for the most part.
This PP govt has extended these hand out programs 3x fold since taking office and it's only getting worse. No end in sight. The gimme gimme mentality has basically tripled since 2010.

but since trinidad population been 1.3 million for the longest while, why not?
jus as many legal immigrants, even born trinis, with diabetes, work as prostitutes, are underemployed, buy cars, put Afros/Indos in PNM/UNC marginals, and more chirren means more educated society...
dunno, jus for me most illegals i does see only wukking security or in stores...don't see any harm in dat... As a society based on immigration, we should be careful in condemning others for "being foreign" or "yuh ent Trini"..

So it should be a free for all then?
How will our economy support these illegals?
Healthcare, education, transportation, judicial, employment, social services, etc.
Even America is taking action against illegals because it is an unnecessary strain on their economy.
