A fellow was reported dead. His colleague replied that he will only believe it when he attended the funeral. That night there was a wake with lots of rum and such with a lively discussions on the deceased. The next morning the deceased showed up from the hospital very much alive when he arrive. Well sufficing to say the news spread like wild fire and thereafter his colleagues and relatives did not care to go and see him. This story has no moral and is as foolish as some of the pronouncement on the incident. HRM representative on TV6 is saying that a Scientific study should have been done, only himself and god knows what he is talking about. Well he did say that they were vindicated as much as they are vindictive. I hope he was not in diapers when we had to use the south bound lane of the highway (single lane) for years to go to town around the early 1990's when the highway had collapsed. That was much worse. We continue to have failures in our National Infrastructure and that is a reality that no one can deny. Remember the collapse of the bridge in Macoya? That is the same one that the truck ran into the temporary Bailey Bridge and a Government minister was quoted as saying (in par lie ment) that the driver should pay for the cost to repair same. Well if there are any MATT practioners out there please examine your membership as to whether they are being truthful.

BTW if OAS etc only planted some shrubs, bush, tree's to hold the soil the land might not have slipped... But me eh no engineer.
