The sub won't let you down, in fact since your ride appears to be a wagon/suv so that should sound impressive. Get at least one volt meter for your system, that way you will know whats going on power wise. My dd is in the trunk of a p11 and it plays hard for a little 8, it is the main reason I pulled my splx15 out. I now actually have a trunk and one optima is all I need to power it up, my system is 1 dd 8, 2-6x9 + 2-6 components powerbass, 1 soundstream 4ch so rear channel on the sub and front channel on the 6x9 with the kenwood powering up the components. As mentioned above the newer decks have loads of eq and cross over capabilities so there is less clutter, so take your time with your install and do it once.
