LOTTO; 5 numbers without the powerball gives you a percentage of the pot (usually a couple thousand dollars)

PICK 4; you need to have all the numbers drawn & they must be of specified order of play (which you select)
eg. you played 4831 and you select "ANY ORDER" mode for $10
NLCB plays 4831
YOU WOULD BE CASHING IN A $2300 TICKET ($230 TO $1)

NOW
Had you played those numbers & selected "ORDER" mode for the same $10
YOU THEN WOULD BE CASHING IN A $55,000 TICKET ($5500 to $1)

on the other hand...
you played 4831
if NLCB plays 8314
you selected 'ANY ORDER" mode for $10
win = $2300
