Woman hits panelvan, runs over traffic warden tries to flee

Drama on Independence Square in Port of Spain this morning, as a woman collides with a van and then crashes into a female traffic warden, before attempting to flee the scene. At around 6 am, a woman driving a red Kia SUV collided with a panel near Republic Bank at the corner of Independence Square and Abercromby Street. The driver of the SUV attempted to leave the scene of the accident and in the process hit a female traffic warden, pushing her into the wall of Nicholas Towers. The impact shattered some of the building’s glass panels. The traffic warden was taken to hospital for treatment, while the driver of the SUV was escorted from the scene by police.

I hope the law uses her as an example, immediate disqualification of drivers permit for LIFE and they should take her car and destroy it, in addition to Jail for a few years, that should send a clear message to the general public.
