Pulsar AD22VF rebuild kit

Postby ddog » February 11th, 2016, 1:13 pm

Does anyone know where I can get a full rebuild kit for the Pulsar AD22VF calipers?

I have a problem where one caliper only holds on half the rotor. You can actually see the caliper rocking to one side when you apply brakes. The slide pins are good and well lubricated with brake grease but it seems that the guide rubbers that the slide pins go into may be the problem causing it to stick. I have rebuilt the calipers recently but was not able to get the slide pin guide rubbers in the kit.

I think I got a regular B14 kit when I bought it, the piston size was the same as the regular B14 so the kit worked but it didn't have the slide pin insert rubber.

The caliper works properly, but it doesn't retract after hitting the brake pedal because the slide pins get stuck in the slide pin rubber causing the brakes to bind. I might just walk with the caliper to a parts shop to see if I can get anything close to work.
