Two areas for me.

1) A good enough back up 9. Someone like Chicharito, a goalscorer but one without an ego to be content to sit on the bench. Jese is not good in that position, gives you much more as a wide player.

2) What is Kroos role? Just to boost his pass completion rate? He doesn't score goals (Has he scored this season?) and he doesn't run past defenders, and he doesn't defend IMO. Think Kroos is a bit overrated. We need a quality defensive mid, someone like Veratti or Kante.

Well Kroos is naturally a CAM who's being played at CDM so don't expect him to be a monster like Busquets in that area.
Kroos is quality tho...is just a matter of time James realize allyuh wasting his time and decides to move on...might happen this summer.
