Drives OK but there is a "rubber band effect" when it moves from electrical to super gas.
When one drives it at 30 km/h or less - you drive in the electric mode. Over that limit then gas mode.
It is not manually switchable.

No one can tell me if there is a problem with the " battery pack " how you can replace, maintain or fix.
All are saying the battery has 8 to 10 years life but no warranty to back up the claim.

Can the battery (lithium-ion battery ) withstand our TT heat ?

And will it perform like the battery in my iPhone ?

Resale value ?

I've driven a Xtrail hybrid & it operated full electric @ 75km/hr using cruise control

X-trail Hybrid price dropping $190K - $200K RoRo.

75 Km/hr in electric mode ? Dealer says not possible. Electric mode at < 30 km/hr.
Can TT dealers really service these hybrids ? Sounds like a disposable car :)

Dealers have been buying less than 1 year old vehicles for minimal prices and replacing instrument panel with new and passing as new.

It's only a few dealers bringing in hybrids at this point in time so he basically means everyone

BMW X5 Hybrids $485K - $520K Crism .

Yeah ...

The V6 is the "trouble" diesel engine from Porsche with the Volks Group per Massy mechanic. They can talk now since they unionized ; not when partly owned by Southern. Or think Hilux - new tech model but diesel problem again.

They could just be trying to scare you off waiting for the new model. Heard they have quite a bit of stock they trying to off load hence the big sale. Can't trust anybody word in a stealership unless they family or close friends working there.

Also the only trouble i have read about these diesel V6's is the emissions scandal which don't really matter in sweet T&T where we don't really care about the damaging effects of diesel emissions.

Not just diesels.... We don't monitor emissions period... Unless you can "see" it. No Catalytic converter no problem. Muffler and resonator... That only restricting flow.

Seeing alot of 2014 Xtrails getting the transmission problems locally now (hybrid and normal)...

There was a recall on the models in Japan etc but I guess our f/used dealers seize the opportunity for cheap vans

Yes, Amarok sale ( HighLine $299 K w/2.0 Twin Turbo Diesel) due to plenty supply. Use to be $350K

However I not seeing comments from Amarok owners. Aussie Youtube reviews good to very good. But no high sulphur cheap diesel in those countries.

Maybe this is out of price range for average Tuners or Amarok owners not Tuners.

But EVERY truck dealer have SALE now.

Except 2017 Ford Limited. The WildTrack 3.0 was about $365 now more $$ with no tray cover. So ?

Isuzu $262K
3.0 Turbo Diesel
18" Al Wheels

(Doing research. Company buying soon )

The new vitara is worth the money. 7 air bags and all the other options. Lots of options. A bit lazy hills though.

The Grand Vitara 2.0 4x4 is a very good SUV. Overall 8/10

A/C was good. Quality interior & exterior 9/10
Had from new, then a PCN. Price. 8/10
LSM's support is good. 8/10
Service runs about $1,500 on average . 8/10
The only negative is that it is sluggish when you speed up. 7/10
