Cut down the bush then start to Build/squat.
Something small like a shack.

Owner will find you.

Very Serious.

You're welcome.

you can get a lawyer or someone who has access to the government land registry database to search it for you if you have the correct address for the land

What if T&C has no record of a property, eg. there is a piece of land next to me that apparently has no owner, I've always maintained it , asked around the neighborhood and no one has any clue who owns it. Since the time I've been living there no one even came to check it or otherwise

If you build the squatter shack, put a breastfeeding mother in it. Police will not touch you.

Go to the Land & Surveys division on Wrightson road. They have multiple maps of different areas that are divided into squares. Get the map of the area the land is on. Keep in mind, some of the maps are outdated.

When you find the relevant "square", within that square is a cadastral of the area with names and some numbers. You take a copy of that information and go to the Registrar General Department, Land Registry section where a search clerk will then find an updated deed (Conveyance or RPO).

Costs depends on how much documentation you want. Walk with $500 just in case.

Buddy all you have to do is nicely ask the person in a polite manner.

for example "Kinds sir, do you own any land?"

I can tell you no i do not own any land.

You can also set up a poll for the thread.

Sounds good.It have an abandoned lot in the back by me.Since before I born that house burned down and abandoned and the "owners" only came twice and check on it.We had a few instances where drug addicts go and light fires causing problems for the neighbours.I thinking about putting up a for sale sign on it just to get the owner to come see about their property. They eh selling and it just distressing everybody.

This is honestly good advice.
Parallel to that, find info from Lands & Surveys, go to Registry, use info to get copy of deed( fee applies).

You good... i claiming squatters rights so in the future i can build an extension

You can check and see who owns it. Sometimes the "owners" don't have legal title as yet or not at all but just caretakers.

Since all land has to be registered for tax purposes, i'd be surprised if there was no land registry.

About five years from now you'll be able to buy it from the State after it's seized for non-payment of property taxes.
