It just looks like an airplane vapour trail. These are quite common.

True but this was a vertical plume not horizontal. Picture definition not showing the perspective (distance & altitude) as properly.

Well I still think it is your perspective that makes it look like it is vertical.

However if it is I doubt it was spinning so it's most Likely just a strangely shaped cloud. Nothing to worry about.

The system. Above it doesn't seem to be 9f any sort that could influence any significant vortex

I agree with your system comment, never said I thought it was a tornado, that's what he responded. I just found it was a very strange vapor formation, partly for that same reason you noted.
