THE PORT OF POINT LISAS (PHILPDECO) IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN SHOT DOWN BY EMPLOYEE'S AT THE MOMENT....AS THEY HAVE EMBARKED ON A PROTEST ACTION AFTER 3 HIDDEN ACTIVE CAMERA'S WAS ALLEGEDLY FOUND IN THE FEMALE CHANGEROOM...EARLIER TODAY.
WHICH THEY ARE SEEING AS AN INVASION OF PRIVACY...THERE IS INFORMATION THAT MR. ANNISETTE IS ENROUTE TO THAT LOCATION TO SPEAK TO THE AFFECTED WORKERS...

The camera were connected to a Poe nvr in the ceiling. Just needed to be on the local Network to pull the video via the nvr app

i dont really think its a case of peeping per say - in the link i saw filing cabinets - is it that they also using those cabinets to store records and the cameras were just put there for security purposes.??

which also begs the question - why put filing cabinets in a changing locker room area ???

trinis tend to think ad hoc quick fixes are actually critical problem solving. but because it is usually hard to justify spending resources to properly fix the problem while the system functions with the ad hoc in place, it tends to become the defacto position.
so, we get filing cabinets for internationally exchanged containers stored in a change room.

or,, they could be old cabinets that were changed out, and then re-purposed to change room cabinets

the part in red is soo true.

me personally it would be wrong to put filing cabinets with sensitive data in a change room . any one cud take paperwork and do as they will..

if old cabinets were replaced with new ones and old units re purposed but this may be the case as the lockers in that vid not really up to par.

side note -- why not simply just recycle it - and buy new lockers for the entire room. ??

if they unable to be locked then they not serving their purpose ...

Today's newspapers has the true story. The cameras were in the room ,but it is not a changing room. The room is USED by some of the staff to change ,because there IS no changing room. So if you have cameras for your security purposes and someone uses the room to change ,how is that spying?

But couldn’t they inform the staff that the said room is monitored by cameras???

highly suspect how d cams were deliberately hidden

motive was to catch workers stealing office\company stuff or coworkers stuff then get them fired ?

i tort prevention better than cure , so if cams were visible it suppose to prevent something going wrong rather than after to go catch d offender\s ?

if it NOT a designated changing room\locker room & management seeing ppl changing clothes whether is male\female then u supposed inform them .... looking like a pervert scene
