CAPE sciences (private)

Postby Brad29 » October 29th, 2019, 2:37 pm

I signed up for Cape biology and chemistry for may/June and since I didn't do any IAs and is self taught, it requires me to be an alternative candidate and do paper 3/ lab examination but I'm seeing on the timetable posted 'lab facility required'. Does that mean I would have to provide my own lab facility for the exam or would one be provided for me? Please help. Ministry is not answering their phone.

Don't panic. Don't let anxiety overtake you. Think logically about this. No you cannot afford or know how to set up a lab. When you registered did they indicate on your slip where your exam center location would be, where you will have to go to write the exams? Most likely it's a high school with facilities. If you are registered to write the exam at a center that means you will have to use their facilities.

Get in contact with the respective CAPE Bio and Chem teachers at the exam center and ask them what to do. I suggest you go to the exam center and ask to speak with the teachers after school hours and show them your documents and just explain what's going on. This will be sorted out, just go tmrw and do this.

Have you been doing the CAPE past papers and getting through with the solutions?

Would you know the registration deadline for Pure Mathematics for 2020 exam?

I think it closed yesterday. I'm no longer seeing the option to register on the site

OP don’t worry too much. There is good out of every bad situation. Go ahead and set up the lab. It’s not that expensive. A Bunsen burner and a few beakers and you good.

Look up some videos on YouTube and start making meth. You will become very rich.

Also supplement your main income by trading forex on the side. You can always launder the real money you make through the trading of the forex.

One disclaimer. Success is not guaranteed.
