Combining the sounds of roaring engines with the ear shattering installations from some of the best audiophiles in music land, the thousands of spectators were treated to a combination that truly brought out the sounds of music for all those with a true appreciation of the outdoor life.

It was a cat and mouse game with the intermittent showers. But the organizers accepted the showers of blessing and eventually were able to complete a grand day of competition.

On what can only be described as perfect conditions for Drag Racing, possibly the largest crowd for the year witnessed another first in Motor Sport for this part of the English-speaking Caribbean.

Circuits

This was the Circuit and Drag Racing Event that saw all the top drivers in action, and all on one track.

Rallying

• Texaco Intl Speed Stages Rally 2002 in Barbados- 27th May 2002 (Click for more)
The 13th Texaco Havoline Int. Stages Rally organised by the Barbados Rally Club attracted 64 cars, with only 37 cars completing the rally. TriniTuner was there.

• TTRC Speed Stages Rally @ Cedar Hill - 18th August 2002 (Click for more)
Speed stage rallies have been few and far between in 2002. Both spectators and participants seem to have two minds about patronizing the events at times. This weekend's event however seemed to change all of that.

• TTRC Rally in the West Indeed!! - 13th October 2002 (Click for more)
The big guns had surely come out in full force and that showed in the spectators' anxiety in between runs. There was no short supply of spectators either, this event having one of the highest spectator turnouts I have seen in a long while.

The 3rd Annual Auto Flex Parade and Car Show took place at Pier 2, Chaguaramas.
Low 'N' Slow is obviously becoming the sweetheart of the local automotive scene.

What was carded as a business and industry oriented exposition turned out to be a full fledged car show with frills...
