So they finally picked sense and saw what Maska did bringing in the hybrid version LWB and did the same. I Always wondered why we couldnt of gotten it through the local dealership when islands like Jamaica got it. I wonder if they have access to the AWD version as well and at what cost. It seems to be coming with more tech this time for us more in line international models.

Being an insignificant RHD market probably is the biggest factor.
Massy and ANSA at least have operations in other territories. SS is just Trinidad not so? So their ability to take big shipments is probably much less than the other two big showroom companies.

Nice!!
Actually know a few ppl bought the X90 Flagship at the 400+k price. Needless to say they couldn't believe the price drop within one year. Sucks to be them.

I like them. Technology to the brim. Test drove the 7 seater version last year which is more or less the same as the 6 seater except for the 2nd row seating, panoramic sunroof and boss switch for the front passenger.
However the engine sounds like a tractor and despite the small displacement with its 3 cylinders mated with a mild hybrid system the fuel efficiency isn't all that great based on real world reviews from South Africa and Malaysia. The test model in Chaguanas was reading 16l/100km when I did the test drive but that's probably a lot of very short runs.
With that said I actually have reserved an eMas from the next shipment. The thought of no more gas stations and servicing once a year is proving to be a big draw.

And just TT$25.00 to fill the "tank" at home with 400-500km of range

The rep in Ansa say even though the car coming with a 120v charger plug they don't recommend it as a long term charging option.j.o.e wrote:Dizzy28 wrote:^ Ppl do need to be cognizant there will be an upfront capital cost to properly install a charger. I also think a lot of people can get by on Level 1 charging if they’re diligent as Trinidad is small. Wiring up for level 2 is surely more convenient
Between overnight charges every few days and weekends you can put back the mileage you use most times
