I saw u all mention chamois and drying towels. What about a water blade? Assuming you've washed the car properly.

Something touch less like the item below would always be safer than chamois, microfiber, water blade etc.

^ that would work similar to a blower, which you can use in your yard as well... L&DG has Toro blowers for $400.

I'm considering adding a repository like what I did with the skybox thread but relevant to our purchases. For instance I got fed up looking for a certain item and ordered it on Amazon. Lo and behold it sitting on d shelf in xtra foods a week later.

Or do you all think its faster to just ask in the thread and someone will answer?

Power sellers will obviously get preference assuming they have products relevant to our needs

Guys if my car already has wax, and I want to remove the swirls I mentioned can I just use the m205 right away...

Or do I need to "cleanse" the paint, then polish?

2 schools of thoughts on that since the m205 should be abrasive enough to cut tru.
I woukd cleanse first so the m205 does heat up as much cutting tru old wax. Wash e arse wid dawn n get to wuk

Pioneer i recommend you do the following;

1. Remove lose contaminants
2. Remove bonded contaminants
3. Check thickness of paint
4. Based on paint thickness use the least aggressive method for removing swirls
5. Chose pad and product combo and do a test spot to determine whether or not it is giving you the desired result.
6. Based on the above do the entire car while double checking your work
7. Clean pad or replace worn out pads
8. After removing swirls polish paint to restore luster
9. Apply wax or sealant to paint work
10. Dress trim, tires and clean up glass

Passed through Car Plus today. I should be banned from entering car care shops. I went for car wash and ended up with degreaser, autoglym washer fluid and glass polish and more.

Guys, what are your views on the Surf City Garage products?

Edit: ah do a search. Anyone still using it?
