Rally Trinidad 2013 Day 3

Rally Trinidad 2013 Day 3

Day 3 of RT13 saw the return of battle-ready teams who missed out on some of the previous day’s stages. The day saw one of the longest stages ever run in Rally Trinidad with a crisscross layout across Bronte. These four stages were run back-to-back and were the key deciding factor for the winner of RT13. The length of the stage and the level of difficulty proved to be a good test of the teams’ endurance and skill. Casualites were Cristian Bourne (gearbox failure), Latiff Khan and Zak Waddell just to mention a few. The popular spectator stage, Jack and Jill incurred no casualties and the teams completed two of the four stages and then proceeded to Tarouba Stadium.

The WRC cars were back and forth trading times with John Powell and James Betts not too far behind. Casualties of Day 2 were : Peter Morris (electrical fire), Gobin Mahadeo (turbo failure/fire), Colin Khan (engine), Devendra Nath (engine) and Prentice Ali (double crash).
